Description
### Steps to reproduce
1. + next to "People" to start chat
2. Add some users to DM, including self
3. See an error saying "We couldn't create your DM."
### Outcome
#### What did you expect?
DM is created and me adding myself to it is ignored as I'm creating it
#### What happened instead?
Error message which doesn't tell me what the problem is
I ran through the steps twice and on one of the two occasions, a room was created.
