### Steps to reproduce
I have a few 1-1 rooms that were created from Fractal and they are not exactly set up like what Element currently does. Encryption is not enabled to begin with. This morning I noticed that, in at least two of them (one with @callahad and the other one with @benparsons) I am an admin and the other person is not. Fair enough, probably the Fractal setup to blame here, although I *think* I have other rooms where both participants are admin.
However, when I went about fixing this, it turned out that the role combo box does not appear on the user profile for the other participant, like it would in other rooms.
### What happened?
The combo box is missing. After a `/op` to Moderator, the combo is still missing.
### What did you expect?
Taken from a public (anyone can join *and* it is not encrypted) room where I’m an admin and Amandine is PL0. The combo box is present.
