Description
### Steps to reproduce
1. Scroll to some old files in the FilePanel and see the thumb in the scrollbar is quite big:
2. Scroll to newer messages, see that thumb is smaller:
### What happened?
Thumb first shrunk, then expanded instead of continuing to shrink as more messages are being loaded.
### What did you expect?
Thumb shrinks and stays small when older messages are loaded so that it corresponds to my correct position in the scrollbar relative to the newest messages.
