### Description

Right now, when I open the left "show hierarchy" arrow, it also opens the sidebar, no biggie.

However, when I close the hierarchy with the same arrow, the sidebar stays, this feels inconsistent when i didn't do anything else with it.

### Steps to reproduce

1. Click the left arrow behind any hierarchical space

2. The hierarchy expands, as does the sidebar

3. Click the left arrow again, the hierarchy collapses, but the sidebar doesn't
