Description
I was using Element Web on develop.element.io, when it stopped responding (the entire tab froze, I couldn't even open devtools) and Firefox's "A website is slowing your browser down" style message appeared. I tried refreshing but after some time Element would start displaying the current room and just freeze (same failure mode). It also displayed the slowdown banner on the loading screen.
After restarting my browser, I'm now able to load Element but the slowdown banner still appears on the loading screen.
