Your messages and mentions for you highlighted

It would be nice to have a setting to make messages you sent in a room or mentions that are directed to you to be more visible in the chat such as being highlighted or bold. In rooms with many users that have many messages a day, it is best to not have to go though every message from the last unread message to find your message or mentions directed to you. It would be nice if your messages and mentions could stick out more.

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by confirming the intended setting scope and visual treatment with maintainers, then locate the chat message and mention presentation and the settings UI. Done means sent messages and direct mentions are visibly distinct without scanning all unread messages.
