What would you like to do?

There should be a button in the settings menu to toggle invites from other users. This should have literally been implemented from the start, it's no different than being able to turn off friend requests on discord.

Why would you like to do it?

Recent spam invites have caused people to uninstall element off of their phones or work stations because there is no option to turn it off. I also generally just want to be able to have this option, since i shouldn't receive invites if i don't want them. There's even a button to reject bulk invites, which people really only ever have to click because they can't disable them in the first place.

How would you like to achieve it?

A button in the security & privacy settings menu that toggles invites. When you click it, no invites can be sent to you. The person who tries to send the invite could get a message like "This user is not accepting invites". As for you, you never even knew the invite was sent. Just think of the way Discord disables friend requests. It's kinda like that.
Additionally, (though i don't really care about this feature as much as the first one), you could add a whitelist system for users to still be able to allow certain people to send them invites while it's disabled. When I say this, I mean that the user right clicks someone's profile and hits a button like "Allow invites from this user" or types in their username in a menu somewhere, and then they can be sent invites by that user.
