Unable to read any direct messages

### Steps to reproduce
1. Start a direct message to a user you share a space with
2. Await a response while both sender and receiver are online AND while the recipient is offline
3. See the hint `Unable to decrypt message` instead of the actual response

A hint `Unable to decrypt message` is displayed instead
