Description
I'm running my own matrix/synapse instance to communicate with friends and family. Now, on some friends' devices, they experience immense loading times when opening Element. Sometimes it takes about 15 to 30 seconds for new chats to load.
This results in audio or video calls not being transmitted in-time but with a high delay so that video calls can't even be accepted or established.
In addition to that, video calls sometimes don't seem to function at all because a connection can't be established. I assume this to be related to the above issue.
Is this a known issue or a configuration problem on server side?
