I'd like to be able to easily suppress notifications for particular rooms and spaces hierarchies or limit them

I'm frustrated about the fact that I have to choose to either have notifications for all spaces and rooms fully enabled have them all suppressed. Having fine-grained control of what level of notifications applies to each point in the hierarchy is crucial to having a reasonable experiences.

For example, I currently have a "space" for "public_chat/dev" in which I've added rooms from IRC. However, I get tons of notifications from these rooms. I can't turn off all notifications because then I don't receive notifications from my bridges.

Having fine grained control seems to be possible in the advanced notification filter settings, but it's a huge pain.

I'd like to have a user interface in the settings per node in the spaces/room hierarchy allow me to configure notifications for each one.
