Messages vanish from room timeline after notification was received

### Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
Conversation was made in direct message room. The user closes his iPhone and the screen went dark. Then the other user in the room sent a message and a notification appeared on the lockscreen.
2. What do you click?
After tapping on this received notification Element opened and displays the timeline. But the timeline contains not all messages anymore. In my case only to message were visible.
After closing the room to enter it again there are still only two messages left in the timeline. All other messages are missing. After closing the app completely to relaunch it the old messages went back. This happend now for the second time.

#### What did you expect?
After opening Element from a received notification the rooms timeline should appear with all its messages.

#### What happened instead?
Messages vanished and only two were left in the timeline.
