It’s impossible to just view my friends now using only the iOS app

Before the new app layout I could create a space to put “other” rooms in and turn off “Show all rooms” in Home. This way my Home space would only show DMs with my friends and any group chats we might have.

The new layout removes this setting, so all chats are shown in All Chats (makes sense).

So I decided to create a space called Friends, but I can’t add any DMs to that space on iOS as only rooms are shown in the picker. *I* know that I can go and do this on the web, but it isn’t much help for people who don’t know that or who only use the app on mobile 😕

Feels like somewhat of a regression in behaviour for personal messaging. Although maybe having “other” rooms isn’t strictly the personal messaging use case 🤷‍♂️
