Notification badge not cleared when handled on a different device

**Describe the bug**
Even though I cleared a direct chat request on Element Desktop, Element iOS continues to show the notification badge on its icon, hours after refreshing.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Receive a request for a DM chat session
2. Refresh the iOS app so that the request is present
3. On a non-iOS client connected using the same account, reject the DM request

**Expected behavior**
The iOS app's homescreen icon no longer displays a notification badge for that DM request, since that request has been dismissed.

**Smartphone (please complete the following information):**
- Device: iPhone SE (first-gen)
- OS: iOS 14.4
- Browser: should not be applicable, but default browser set to Firefox for iOS 31.0
- Version: 1.2.1
