3D-Touch Support

As I couldn’t find this topic discussed anywhere, I‘m creating this feature request.

I‘m really missing the support for 3D-Touch in the complete App, it’s nearly a bit frustrating, that peek and pop isn’t working. Everytime I use the app and try to use it, it feels like something is missing, especially compared to other Apps and Messengers.

So there are a few points where 3D-Touch / peek and pop should be implemented to improve element in iOS to feel more native.
1. Home Screen Quick Actions
2. Peek and Pop for Chat-Previews
3. Peek and Pop for Context-Menus
4. Peek and Pop for Media and Links

More Details for the different points:

1. Home Screen Quick Actions:
Not much to explain here in my eyes, I think dynamic quick actions should be implemented, with options like „New Message“, „Take Picture“ or something like that.

2./3./4. Peek and Pop:
For all above mentioned points are going hand-in-hand with each other, as they are combined with each other most times.
I think there should be a preview for the different chats with peek and pop, also the context menu could be integrated in this directly, so there would be no need for the awkward long-press menu, which has also a strange closing-behavior (you can’t simply tap anywhere) and doesn’t provide any taptic feedback.

The same applies to media, messages and links. There should be a more native behavior in my eyes with support for peek and pop with the integration of previews and sharing options for messages and media.
Also peek and pop on the links should provide a preview for the website, so I don’t have to change the app when visiting the link (e.g. like Twitter does). Alternatively a native context-menu could be shown, like WhatsApp or Telegram , but in the best case I think a preview should be shown and then directly pop/open the link in safari.

The now used long-press action with could maybe integrated in the native context menu with an point like „emotion“ or „react“ for the emoji-reaction. Or completely as separate points in the native context-menu for the current long-press on the chats.

As in my experience I’m more used to use 3D-Touch to share or preview than reacting to something, so I think it would be much more comfortable and better for the normal users too, to have the expected behavior, which is known from the other Messengers.
