Searching the user directory via the People list does not provide viewable mxids

Description
I shouldersurfed someone doing this earlier, and they couldn't find the right user (me) because the mxids weren't shown at all, and nor were profile photos for some reason. Presence data tried to be shown (all 'unknown'), resulting in unusable UX
