### Steps to reproduce
1. Set an avatar on your account
2. Look at the profile button
### Outcome
#### What did you expect?
I should see a thumbnail of my avatar
#### What happened instead?
I see a broken link placeholder:
Strangely, if I inspect the img element, it has the right src attribute, and opening [the image](https://call.ems.host/_matrix/media/r0/thumbnail/call.ems.host/144b8fdd960777530486ff591dfe828461ba2910?width=32&height=32&method=crop) in a new tab works.
