Realm db operations blocking UI thread

We are developing an application that uses the "SDK" part of RiotX.
When sending an encrypted text message the UI thread appears to be blocked. Based on conversation with @bmarty this is a known issue related to use of Realm.
We also see behavior where the signal for a new timeline event takes longer to appear than we would expect.

@bmarty as you know we are moving pretty quickly on our development. We would be happy to be the first to test a fix for this.
