Description

Hello 👋

I’ve noticed that in previous versions of Element Android, the Jitsi Meet configuration could be provided via the /.well-known/matrix/client file using the im.vector.riot.jitsi.conf parameter. However, in the latest versions, it seems this setting is no longer respected — the client connects directly to https://meet.element.io for Jitsi calls, ignoring the custom configuration.

Is this an intentional change? If so, is there any way to override the default Jitsi server in the new versions of Element Android?

Also, is it possible to configure a custom push server (instead of using the default matrix.org one) for push notifications? I’m aiming to run a fully self-hosted setup.

Thanks in advance for any clarification you can provide 🙏
Best regards
