### Steps to reproduce
I have a room which I've abused to be "notes for self", and it's been a few days or weeks that I can't send messages to it from the Android app. This was working before. Messages can be sent again if the room is converted to a room (`/converttoroom`).
### Outcome
The conversion to a room solves my own problem, but I had to think of doing it as a solution/workaround.
