Can't search for user ids including homeserver adress "internal server error"

### Steps to reproduce
1° go to this button on all chats screen
2° click on "start chat"
3° search for any user id includint the homeserver ex: @name:homeserver (the homeserver doesn't need to be right or completed, the moment any letter is inputted after the ":" the error happens
### Outcome
#### What did you expect?
I expected it to show me users that had a corresponding @ and homeserver the same way the searches without homeserver inputted do
#### What happened instead?
It gave me an error saying "internal server error"

android 13 (lineage os 20)

tried on both F-droid 1.5.8 and play store 1.5.11 [40105112] (G-40bfffae) (currently I'm on play store version)
### Homeserver
tried on two of them chat.tchncs.de (synapse 1.74.0) and chat.mistli.net (synapse 1.74.0rc0 if I'm not mistaken)
