Description
Reported to Google directly using their "beta feedback" tool, I think the issue may be that Element doesn't handle removal of notification permissions very well?

What I expect:
Notification channels visible in the app's notification settings page, notifications received and displayed.
What actually happens:
No notification channels exist, notification troubleshooting doesn't display a notification, no notification shown for new messages.
