Description

### Steps to reproduce

I have all my DMs/Rooms favorite-ized and sorted into private spaces (family - friends - club - job - etc) because I dislike the separation of DMs and rooms. For me everything is a conversation, no matter how many people partake.

Element-desktop (v. 1.10.11, Olm 3.2.8) shows everything grouped into spaces as expected. So does element-web (same version). Private spaces are a very nice feature, thanks for that!

But Element Android randomly sorts rooms and DMs into spaces without any clear concept. I click the left burger menu, choose a space and click it.

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?
To see the DMs and rooms grouped into that space as they are shown on Element desktop/web.

#### What happened instead?
As far as I can see one space is shown mostly correct - which one varies. Yesterday "family" was correct, today it is scrambled. Instead "friends" is mostly correct, which only had 6 DMs yesterday (instead of about 20 today, but 3 are still missing and 1 belongs somewhere else). "club" shows 4 random DMs and no rooms instead of 11 rooms. "job" shows 1 correct DM but the room is missing. Weird that some dead conversations suddenly make it into the chosen few
Even the home page shows only 25 from 60 favourite conversations, all non-favourite DMs and none of the non-favourite rooms. All conversations are there though but only if I filter for their names.

I cannot trigger re-scrambling and I cannot see any logic in the mixup, so logs probably don't make sense. Clearing the cache did nothing. Element-desktop and -web consistently work correctly, I haven't seen even the slightest mixup there.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the space and Home-page conversation grouping on Element Android, comparing the result with Element desktop/web. Check whether favorite DMs and rooms appear in the selected private space and whether filtering only hides items; done means the displayed groups consistently match the expected conversations. The report provides no file or test entry point, and logs were not supplied.
