Feature request: setting to mute videos (before they play)

### Your use case

#### What would you like to do?

I would like to be able to watch videos sent by contacts without the audio playing automatically.

#### Why would you like to do it?

I cannot know in advance how loud some video snippets can be. This is both annoying and awkward in almost every situation.

#### How would you like to achieve it?

It could be nice to add an option in the settings to choose whether or not to play all videos muted by default.

### Have you considered any alternatives?

Setting the device's volume, but I always forget to do so. Managing the notification and media volume all the time is also a pain on Android.
