Description

### Steps to reproduce

1. Go to Direct Message screen, click the add new button in the lower left corner.
2. Enter a username with the homeserver part starting with a capital letter: e.g. @invliad_user:Matrix.org
3. Select the suggestion to add the user to the room
4. click Create ("Erstellen")

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?
Either a successfull direct message or an error stating that this homeserver is invalid.
#### What happened instead?
I got a invalid signature error.
