Description
#### Describe the bug
Ever since I upgraded to 1.1.9 (F-Droid), the application has been barely usable for me.
I am plagued by slowdowns that usually quickly lead to crashes, or straight crashes. I have submitted rageshakes on 2 occasions with possibly different things triggering it. After a while I now feel like it'll crash no matter what you do after a while, but it seems to happen more quickly when switching between apps (incl e.g. trying to share to element), rooms, stickers or just writing a bunch of messages quickly.
#### To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- since I don't see this issue reported yet, it probably has to do with my device and ROM, see below
- F-Droid flavor of the app
- selfhosted federating server
- try just using the app, or any of the above mentioned actions
- logcat seems to indicate running out of ram, however there should actually be plenty available?
#### Expected behavior
Work as 1.1.7 did. I'm not sure if I ever had 1.1.8 running, it felt like 1.1.8 was stuck so long in F-Droid builds that 1.1.9 was already out. (Same situation right now btw, could be that 1.1.11 (!) resolves this.)
Surely element doesn't suddenly need significantly more memory?
It won't let me downgrade (via F-Droid version history/downgrade feature) to 1.1.8 or 1.1.7, or I'd try that.
#### Screenshots

#### Smartphone (please complete the following information):
- Device: Moto G5S+ (3GB RAM)
- OS: Android 10, RROS 8.6.4, rooted with Magisk, microg
#### Additional context
- App version and store 1.1.9 F-Droid
- Homeserver: private
#### Logcat
The following gist is an `adb logcat` of me reproducing the issue. Most stuff in the middle seems irrelevant to me, but there's a bunch of element (im.vector.app) right at the start and again last third (stopped logcat when it crashed).
