Element struggles to keep a "canonical" user avatar in the top left part of the screen on the home menu

#### Describe the bug
When you have multiple avatars in multiple rooms, opening different rooms would sometimes "replace" that image.

#### To Reproduce
1. Have two rooms where the member state event has different avatar images
2. Send a message in room A
3. Go back to overview, observe avatar image change (or not, if avatar was already set from that room) on sync
4. Send a message in room B
5. Go back to overview, observe avatar change on sync

#### Screenshots
My actual avatar is my current GitHub avatar, while that avatar on element i have only for one specific room.
