Emoji search text appears after choosing an emoji

While searching for an emoji using the in-chat colon method, I've found that some emojis will cause the search text to appear after the emoji upon choosing one.

### Steps to reproduce

- Be in a chat and type a colon to bring up emoji search
- Start searching for 'chris'
- Pick the Christmas Tree icon
- In the chat you end up having a christmas tree emoji plus the word 'chris'

**Expected behavior**
Only the christmas tree emoji to appear.

It might be due to the fact that my keyboard is trying to auto-complete to "Chris" before I touch the emoji picker?
