Display more status information when in Developer mode

Often I find that Element Android is working/loading something in the background, or is spinning for a long time, but I don't know what it's doing. Often I find that if I kill the app and launch it, it works fine.

It would be useful to be able to know what is causing the spinner/loading bar to remain.

One idea could be to have a status bar at the bottom of the screen like old browsers used to.
