Description
I haven't tried to reproduce this, but:
- A bad ansible redeploy caused my synapse instance to be taken down but the nginx stayed up
- hits to https://matrix.lant.uk were 502ed
- Element Android didn't say anything was wrong - from a UX perspective it appeared to be completing syncs as normal
