Text input field is not focused with hardware keboard

When you select a room in Element, user would expect the text input field to be focused and ready for text input.
With hardware keyboard this is not the case - user must tap the text input field to focus it and only after that can type text.

Tested on Gemini PDA and Cosmo Communicator
