closing transition of image viewer in media overview flickers when animations are disabled

Go to room settings -> uploads -> media and open an image.
When you then close the preview (vertical swipe or back button, doesn't matter) you'll see for a short moment that the thumbnail image is zoomed in. After that short moment it fixes itself.

This happens only when you disable animations in Android's developer settings.
I think in that case it should just not zoom in the thumbnail in first place.
