No sessions are reacting to initial verification

I've updated from riot.im to RiotX, and is trying to verify it, but no other sessions are responding to it. I get the verification pop-up, but there is nothing to do there other than skipping or using a recovery key, and nothing is popping up in any other session (riot-web and riot-desktop).
