Reproduce the report in Electerm on Windows 11 with PowerShell 7.6.4 by running the listed pnpm self-update command and observing the gap after “Checking for updates...”. Trace the terminal output rendering path; done means the command output no longer shows the unexpected large blank interval and normal terminal behavior remains intact.
