resizing sometimes breaks

sometimes when i resize my window sense ui breaks

steps to reproduce:
- try resizing your window or opening/closing chrome dev tools
- try showing/hidding help


note that in the screenshot lines are blank at the end (but there is more text ... i actually have over 100 lines.

Start in the Sense UI by reproducing the problem while resizing the window, opening or closing Chrome DevTools, and showing or hiding Help. Compare the editor before and after each action, using the screenshot and the report of blank lines as the expected failure; done means the full text remains visible after those resize-related actions.
