Description
**What the feature is and who is it for**
This feature introduces organization-wide audit logging that can be easily enabled directly from the Elastic Cloud Console UI. It’s designed for Elastic Cloud administrators and security teams who need full visibility into activity across their organization — whether through the Web UI or API — to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational oversight.
Note that this initial outcome focuses exclusively on auditing administrative interactions related to Elastic Cloud Hosted resources (i.e. deployments) and organization-level changes (e.g., member management, API keys, etc).
**Value proposition**
With this capability, Elastic Cloud administrators gain a centralized, searchable audit trail of all key user actions — from configuration changes and security updates to access management and resource modifications. This visibility helps teams quickly answer questions like “Who modified this deployment’s resources?” or “When was this API key last used?”, improving accountability, troubleshooting, and security posture across their environment.
