**Value proposition**
Teams running the New Kibana Alerting Experience in production need repeatable, programmatic ways to configure alerting v2 rules and other resources in code instead of only through the Kibana UI. Terraform support for Alerting v2 APIs will help fulfil these workflows.
**Expected outcome**
Platform and SRE teams can provision, update, and review rules configuration through Terraform with the same workflows they use for other Elastic resources, making rollout, promotion across environments, and change review simpler and more consistent.
