Description

**What the feature is (as Title)**
Kibana user activity logs

**Value proposition**
Kibana is introducing a new activity log that records intentional user actions performed through the UI and APIs. The first release focuses on Dashboard events: creating, viewing, editing, sharing, exporting, and other deliberate dashboard operations, so teams can see who did what in Kibana, when, and in which space. Kibana user activity logs provide a structured and human readable records of intentional actions, not background noise. Starting with dashboards, operators gain visibility into meaningful usage patterns inside their own Elastic stack, supporting accountability, troubleshooting, and operational governance without relying on additional tooling

**Expected outcome**

Kibana administrators and security teams can answer “who did this?” and “when did it happen?” for dashboard activity directly in Elastic, instead of guessing or reconstructing events after the fact. Over time, this becomes the foundation for broader Kibana activity coverage beyond dashboards, so operational questions about how Kibana is used can be answered from one consistent log source.
