Description
**What the feature is and who it’s for**
The EIS Tier view in AutoOps for Elastic Cloud Serverless provides visibility into how inference performance, and token usage, helping users understand how inference activities impact overall project efficiency and usage.
This capability is designed for Serverless users running inference workloads who want to track their token consumption, optimize performance, and manage costs more effectively.
**Value proposition**
The EIS Tier view links EIS performance metrics with inference billing dimensions, showing how inference workloads drive token usage. It helps users monitor token consumption, identify resource-intensive models, and adjust configurations to improve efficiency.
Together with the Search, Search AI Lake, and Indexing Tier views, it gives users deeper visibility into how different workload types contribute to overall Serverless resource usage and costs—supporting data-driven optimization and cost control.
