Description
**What is the feature and who it is for?**
AutoOps for air-gapped environments is an advanced monitoring, diagnostics, and optimization solution built for administrators running the Elastic Stack in secure, isolated environments, including Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK), Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE), or bare-metal installations. It is designed specifically for organizations with strict regulatory or security requirements, such as large-scale federal, government, and banking institutions who cannot send metrics to Elastic Cloud. The solution is deployed entirely within the customer's own environment, ensuring all analysis and metrics are performed and stored locally.
**Value proposition**
This new capability enhances AutoOps to support isolated environments, a capability that up until now was only available for Elastic Cloud Hosted or via Cloud Connected that require sending metrics to the cloud. This provides access to advanced, actionable insights within a secure, disconnected environment. Unlike other tools that only provide metrics, AutoOps correlates data to deliver insights, highlight potential causes for issues, and offer clear recommendations. This enables technical teams to perform guided troubleshooting, optimize resource utilization, and identify misconfigurations, ultimately reducing the time and expert resources required to manage large-scale Elastic deployments. All analysis is performed locally, ensuring no customer data leaves the secure network.
