Logstash output plugin for KairosDB

I've written a Logstash output plugin to publish metrics to KairosDB/Cassandra. KairosDB can be used as a datasource for Grafana.

This plugin borrows shamelessly from the 'graphite' plugin.

It would be great if this plugin could be included under the logstash-plugins as I found the process of installing custom plugins to be broken in Logstash 1.5.4 (the ~/vendor/local_gems//plugin-name directory is empty after following the installation instructions) and it would simplify our installation process.
