### User Goal

As a user, I would love to leverage Elastic's Hosts Page with VMware integration:

This can provide a one-stop shop to see VMs that may or may not be covered by Elastic Agent. Integrating would be simply normalizing the data set to use ECS, as the Hosts page is already configured with

### Existing Features

For VMware vSphere users (not everyone leverages this integration), I feel that the current method has made infrastructure monitoring somewhat cumbersome, requiring context switching between custom dashboards and the Elastic Built-in Hosts page. It would be great to maximize the use of Elastic's Built-In UIs

This simple change can be done by adding a switch as in Network Packet Capture, allowing users to decide when to carry over:
