### User Goal

Istio now supports a sidecar-less mode ([Ambient](https://istio.io/latest/docs/ambient/) via [Ztunnel](https://github.com/istio/ztunnel)). This has a different way of doing [Metrics](https://github.com/istio/ztunnel?tab=readme-ov-file#metrics) and [Logs](https://github.com/istio/ztunnel?tab=readme-ov-file#logging) compared to the existing proxy/sidecar setup. It would be nice to have the existing Istio integration support this out-of-the-box.

### Existing Features

Existing backing Elastic integrations can be used to gather this information similar to the proxy setup with the Prometheus integration being able to collect the metrics and the Filestream integration being able to collect the logs.

### What did you see?

I currently need to create this custom rather than having an out of the box solution.
