Description
I.e. functionality tested in https://github.com/elastic/elastic-otel-node/blob/main/packages/opentelemetry-node/test/bootstrap-in-code.test.js. This is the gateway to using a lot of OTel 3rd-party and API/SDK functionality for customizing telemetry.
