### Problem Description
Salesforce recommends using [External Client Apps](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=005228017&type=1) instead of old Salesforce Connected Apps.
Connected apps are being deprecated and it will not possible to create one any more starting in Spring 2026.
### Proposed Solution
Evaluate and implement support for External Client Apps for Salesforce connector. Keep the old auth method available for backwards compatibility.
