[ui] Selection mode shouldn't lose view menu

Very low priority:

To enter selection mode, I click the second icon from the right:


This causes the menu buttons to shift, and to leave selection mode, I need to move the cursor to the rightmost button:


This is a bit of a UI surprise. But it could easily be solved by keeping the view menu even during selection mode, as I might even want to choose a different view while selecting:
