### Environment: (where does this bug occur, have you tried other environments)
- Which branch (`main` for latest released): `main`
- Which revision (`HEAD` for the most recent): `HEAD`
- Any specific OS or system where the issue occurs? On Ubuntu 22.04, haven't tried other systems.
- Any special versions of ROOT or Geant4? Visualization done with ROOT 6.26, and reproduced with [web viewer](https://eic.phy.anl.gov/geoviewer/). Using eic_container with cvmfs.

### Steps to reproduce: (give a step by step account of how to trigger the bug)
1. Clone epic and ip6 repositories, enter eic_container, install repos, source local/setup.sh
2. `dd_web_display --export $DETECTOR_PATH/epic.xml`

### Expected Result: (what do you expect when you execute the steps above)
Output visualization ROOT file with majority of detectors shown.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue with `dd_web_display --export $DETECTOR_PATH/epic.xml` inside the eic_container using the epic and ip6 repositories, then inspect the visualization export path and ROOT output. Compare the exported detectors with the expected majority shown, including through the referenced web viewer; done means the output visualization ROOT file displays most detectors.
