Issue Installing

Hi, I was trying to install this into my 1.12.2 mod world because I thought it was a very cool mod. Thank you so much for porting this into 1.12.2 it is a shame that it was never updated into later versions. But when I converted the zip file into an executable .jar file it didn't work when placed into my mods folder. It didn't show up into my hot bar and claimed that the file was corrupt. I tried once or twice more, before admitting defeat. I know this post is a bit old and I may not get a response, but I would appreciate it if you could help me to install it successfully. :)
