Description
https://maven.apache.org/surefire/maven-surefire-plugin/whats-new-3-6-0.html
Specific provider should not be required anymore, if I understand correctly.
Currently, we need to be explicit on providers in some projects or it won't find the tests.
Maybe this new version will simplify our POMs.

Research direction
Read the linked Surefire 3.6.0 release notes first, then search the repository's POMs for explicit Surefire provider configuration. Update the relevant POMs only if the newer version discovers the tests without it, and run the affected Maven test builds to confirm provider handling still works.
