Description

I think that StorageAwareResource#load(Map<?, ?>) should pass on the load options Map to the ResourceStorageFacade and ResourceStorageLoadable. This for example allows implementations to implement conditional loading.

My use case is to implement on-demand loading of the node model and also completely suppress loading of the node model. The reason being that the node model typically requires a lot of memory and is in many cases not required.

For symmetry it would probably also make sense to pass an options Map to ResourceStorageWritable.

Research direction

Start with StorageAwareResource#load(Map), then inspect the ResourceStorageFacade, ResourceStorageLoadable, and ResourceStorageWritable entry points named in the issue. Determine how load options should flow through these APIs, including the writable symmetry, and consider how conditional or suppressed loading should be represented. Done means the relevant storage implementations can receive the options map.
