Description
Instead of widget heavy pages we can try embedding a json editor in the preference page. That would allow using options as soon as they are supported by the LS and not wait on WWD to add preference for it. Something like what was tried in the initial E4 story https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse4/CSS

Research direction
Start by reviewing the preference page context and the initial E4 CSS story linked in the issue. Determine how an embedded JSON editor could replace the widget-heavy preference pages and expose options supported by the language server. Done means the approach is defined and the relevant preference behavior is implemented and verified.
